About
Nanoscience researcher, science communicator, visual artist, and relentless believer that complex ideas deserve beautiful presentation.
I'm Ritika Sharma — a nanoscience researcher and science communicator on a mission to make cutting-edge science accessible, beautiful, and impossible to ignore.
My journey started in a lab, staring at electron microscope images and wondering why the world didn't know how extraordinary this looked. That question led me to science art, then to science communication, then to building communities of researchers who believe that the way we present science is as important as the science itself.
Today I wear many hats — researcher, writer, speaker, visual artist — but they're all in service of the same goal: closing the gap between the lab bench and the people who should care about what happens there.
My research sits at the intersection of nanoscience, materials characterisation, and biophysics — probing matter at the scale where quantum effects start to matter and conventional physics gives way to new phenomena.
